Kingsbury waterpark model boat club.

Based at Kingsbury Water Park since 1975 where we have our own model boating lake. We are a dedicated social group of model boat enthusiasts interested in all forms of model boating.
Members are able to boat on the lake whenever the park is open with Sunday and Thursday being the most popular.
Interested in knowing more? Please come and see us at the lake, you will be made more than welcome. We only ask that you stay behind the fence initially and make your interest known, as the enclosed area is for members and their guests only, while boating is taking place(club insurance/safety requirement).
All welcome to join in the fun.
Club Membership caters for Senior, Adult and Families including insurance. Request info. The park is wheelchair and disability freindly.

Lively, that's how to describe the club. Our monthly meeting's are always a giggle. Your welcome to drop in, but for a real taste of the sport join us quayside where you'll witness yachts sails bulging with the breeze racing for points and glory, or their electric cousins moving like bullets . The heady smell of fuel for the I/C type. Steam propelled projectiles for the hydro type. Intricate details and engineering for the scale type. We are very welcoming with lifetimes of experience between the members. Don't know a widget from a whatchamacallit? Don't worry someone will and be only too happy to give you a hand.

The boating lake and it's environmental care is our responsibility lets give it the love it deserves. As a club we work hard to ensure we get as many fine days on the water as we can. Managing the weeds, keeping the rescue kit good to go, creating and repairing the odds and sods that the club uses for events. Members elect the committee. The committee loves the lake. We always welcome a helping hand, join us and get stuck in.
